November 12, 2009The foundation liberals have finally done it. They have managed to get Lou Dobbs removed from CNN. On November 11, Dobbs announced his resignation, effective immediately.
Dobbs is a gentleman, so he didn’t mention the gunfire directed at his home — the sort of thing you’d expect in a thugocracy like Mexico, not the United States — and he didn’t mention the concerted effort spearheaded by Presente, the National Council of La Raza, and other pro-illegal immigration groups to get him thrown off the air. Media Matters, MoveOn.org, and the Southern Poverty Law Center have consistently agitated to have Dobbs removed.
Soros and the left-cover side of the global elite have realized a victory. Dobbs kept hammering on the broken border and this irritated the elite who want open and unchecked borders in order to drive down wages and destroy the living standards of middle class Americans. Dobbs was a roadblock in the elite’s plan to turn the planet into a unified slave labor plantation.
Lou Dobbs has few options. He may retire. Or he may go over to Fox News. But that is not much of an option. Fox News is part of the controlled opposition. Rupbert Mordoch is a one-world minion who supported the political campaign of Hillary Clinton. Fox programs push the global warming agenda.
Fox News is the flipside supposedly in opposition to the “liberal bias” of CNN and MSNBC. Fox’s talking heads and newscasters — with the notable exception of Andrew Napolitano — are neocons masquerading as conservatives. Fox News operatives like Glenn Beck are tasked with destroying Libertarian and constituionalist elements in the Republican Party. Fox News is an integral part of the false right-left paradigm that controls opposition and renders it ineffective.
Napolitano operates from the basement of Fox News. On occasion he sits in for master disinfo agent Beck. His show is broadcast over the internet and is not in Fox’s television line-up. Is it possible Fox will do the same to Dobbs? We’ll see.
Here is the statement Dobbs made on his last show on CNN:
Tonight I want to turn to a personal note, if I may, and address a matter that has raised some curiosity. This will be my last broadcast here on CNN, where I’ve worked for most of the past 30 years, and where I have many friends and colleagues whom I admire deeply and respect greatly.
I’m the last of the original anchors here on CNN and I’m proud to have had the privilege to helping to build the world’s first news network. I’m grateful for the many opportunities that CNN has given me over the many years. I’ve tried to reciprocate with a full measure of my ability.
Over the past six months it’s become increasingly clear that strong winds of change have begun buffeting this country and affecting all of us. And some leaders in media, and in politics and business have been urging me to go beyond the role at CNN and to engage in constructive problem solving as well as to contribute positively to the great understanding of the issues of our day and to continue to do so in the most honest and direct language possible.
I’ve talked extensively with Jonathan Klein. John’s the president of CNN, and as a result of those talks, John and I have agreed to a release from my contract that will enable me to pursue new opportunities. At this point, I’m considering a number of options, and directions, and I assure you, I will let you know when I set my course.
I truly believe that the major issues of our time include — the growth of our middle-class, the creation of more jobs, health care, immigration policy, the environment, climate change, and our military involvement, of course, in Afghanistan and Iraq.
But each of those issues is, in my opinion, informed by our capacity to demonstrate strong resilience of our now weakened capitalist economy and demonstrate the political will to overcome the lack of true representation in Washington, D.C.
I believe these to be profoundly, critically important issues, and I will continue to strive to deal honestly and straightforwardly with those issues in the future. Unfortunately, these issues are now defined in the public arena by partisanship and ideology rather than by rigorous, empirical thought and forthright analysis and discussion.
I’ll be working diligently to change that as best I can. And as for the important work of restoring inspiration to our great free society and our market economy, I will strive as well to be a leader in that national conversation.
It’s been my great honor to work with each and every person at this wonderful network. I will be eternally grateful to CNN, to Ted Turner, and to all of my colleagues and friends and, of course, to you at home.
I thank you, and may God bless you.

One detail that is never mentioned is that in Washington , D.C. there can never be a building of greater height than the Washington Monument . With all the uproar about removing the ten commandments, etc., this is worth a moment or two of your time. I was not aware of this amazing historical information.
On the aluminum cap, atop the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C. , are displayed two words: Laus Deo.
No one can see these words. In fact, most visitors to the monument are totally unaware they are even there and for that matter, probably couldn’t care less.
Once you know Laus Deo’s history , you will want to share this with everyone you know. These words have been there for many years; they are 555 feet, 5.125 inches high, perched atop the monument, facing skyward to the Father of our nation, overlooking the 69 square miles which comprise the District of Columbia, capital of the United States of America.
Laus Deo! Two seemingly insignificant, unnoticed words. Out of sight and, one might think, out of mind, but very meaningfully placed at the highest point over what is the most powerful city in the most successful nation in the world.
So, what do those two words, in Latin, composed of just four syllables and only seven letters, possibly mean? Very simply,
they say ” Praise be to God!”
Though construction of this giant obelisk began in 1848, when James Polk was President of the United States , it was not until 1888 that the monument was inaugurated and opened to the public. It took twenty-five years to finally cap the memorial with a tribute to the Father of our nation, Laus Deo. “Praise be to God!”
From atop this magnificent granite and marble structure, visitors may take in the beautiful panoramic view of the city with its division into four major segments. From that vantage point, one can also easily see the original plan of the designer, Pierre Charles l’Enfant…a perfect cross imposed upon the landscape, with the White House to the north. The Jefferson Memorial is to the south, the Capitol to the east and the Lincoln Memorial to the west.
A cross you ask? Why a cross? What about separation of church and state? Yes, a cross; separation of church and state was not, is not, in the Constitution. So, read on. How interesting and, no doubt, intended to carry a profound meaning for those who bother to notice.
Praise be to God! Within the monument itself are 898 steps and 50 landings. As one climbs the steps and pauses at the landings the memorial stones share a message.
On the 12th Landing is a prayer offered by the City of Baltimore;
on the 20th is a memorial presented by some Chinese Christians;
on the 24th a presentation made by Sunday School children from New York and Philadelphia quoting Proverbs 10:7, Luke 18:16 and Proverbs 22:6. Praise be to God!When the cornerstone of the Washington Monument was laid on July 4th, 1848 deposited within it were many items including the Holy Bible presented by the Bible Society. Praise be to God! Such was the discipline, the moral direction, and the spiritual mood given by the founder and first President of our unique democracy “One Nation, Under God.”
I am awed by Washington ’s prayer for America Have you ever read it? Well, now is your unique opportunity, so read on!
“Almighty God; We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy holy protection; that Thou wilt incline the hearts of the citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to government; and entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their fellow citizens of the United States at large. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication, we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.”
Laus Deo!
When one stops to observe the inscriptions found in public places all over our nation’s capitol, he or she will easily find the signature of God, as it is unmistakably inscribed everywhere you look. You may forget the width and height of “Laus Deo “, its location, or the architects but no one who reads this will be able to forget its meaning, or these words: “Unless the Lord builds the house its builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.” (Psalm 127: 1)

Exhibit A that today’s Tea Parties are a success before they begin: They have drawn the adolescent derision of hateful critics, who, through envy or political bigotry, have chosen to bash them. So for Tea Party supporters, skeptics and detractors alike, a handy guide to today’s phenomenon:
Q: What is this thing? Where did all of this Tea Party talk come from in the first place?
A: On Feb. 19, CNBC’s Rick Santelli was broadcasting from the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, asking nearby traders if they wanted their tax dollars to pay other people’s mortgages, as required by the so-called Homeowners Affordability and Stability Plan. Amid a chorus of discontent, Santelli rhetorically asked President Barack Obama, “Are you listening?” and invoked the notion of a “Chicago Tea Party” and the imagery of the Boston tea tax protests of 1773.
Q: How did that grow into the nationwide outpouring that will happen today?A: You never know when such a perfect storm will arise. The sheer audacity (pun totally intended) of the Obama agenda delivered a shock to the sensibilities of conservatives and some independents whose long-simmering annoyance with the ballooning size, cost and intrusiveness of government finally reached a breaking point. Throw in the imbalance of one-party rule and the inclination of those out of power to try to get it back, and presto – Tea Party crowds.
Q: Will the Tea Parties focus on issues other than taxes and spending?
A: Unavoidably. With the number of Tea Parties approaching 100 in Texas alone, surely speakers will utter occasional references to other conservative concerns, from immigration to abortion to environmental extremism.
Q: Is that a good idea?
A: Not so much. Occasional allusions to core values likely shared by a Tea Party crowd are fine, but these events need to have a laser-beam focus on taxes, spending and government overreach. It would be a shame if the goodwill and harmony likely to surround every Tea Party were diluted by the inclusion of admittedly worthy but problematic issues that could spark some bad blood, even among a largely conservative crowd.
Q: So should a Democrat even show up at one of these things?
A: By all means. The currently staggering scope of authoritarianism and profligate spending has shocked even some lifelong Democrats, especially in Texas and the South. Here’s sentence that will make instant friends at any Tea Party: “I’m a Democrat, and I probably disagree with most of the people here on most issues. But I never dreamed that we would see these insane bailouts and reckless stimulus packages, and sometimes people need to get together for a common cause.”
Q: Will there be counter-demonstrations?
A: A few, but it’s hard to imagine them amounting to much. Protests are usually sparked by indignation – witness the huge throng at Dallas City Hall two years ago, a show of resistance against actually obeying our immigration laws. How much genuine angst can there be among liberals these days, as their fondest dreams of expansionist, collectivist government are taking shape before their very eyes?
Q: Will the energy of the Tea Parties ultimately amount to a hill of beans?
A: That depends, intriguingly enough, on the people in America’s ideological midsection. There is a good chance conservatives will take this as an opportunity to offer reminders and even primary-season punishment to Republicans insufficiently devoted to fighting a socialist-leaning future. If they are joined by some Democrats and independents repelled by the scope of debt and government control that seem to lie ahead, we may look back on this day as a moment of real change.

“I’ve talked to Caroline Kennedy and she’s clearly interested,” New York Sen. Chuck Schumer said at a news conference Monday afternoon.
He has indicated that 12 people are interested in the position that is coming available with Hilary Clinton moving on to US Secretary of State.
“She’s interested in the position,” New York Gov. David Paterson confirmed. But at the same time “she realizes it’s not a campaign.” Paterson, who will name Clinton’s successor, noted that Kennedy had indicated a desire to “sit down and tell me what her qualifications are.”
Kennedy’s interest in the seat could mean the continuation of a family legacy in the Senate that began 56 years ago with the election of her father as the then-junior senator from Massachusetts.
Her uncle Ted Kennedy has represented Massachusetts in the Senate since 1963, and her uncle Robert Kennedy served as New York’s junior senator from 1965 until he was assassinated in 1968.

In 4 days America will have elected a new president. What is in store for the next administration is yet t
o be seen. But I am convinced that the past 8 years with George W Bush as president was no by accident. Only God could have so ordained that the right person was in the right place at the right time. God has done this many times in the past… Moses, Joshua, David, Esther, Elijah, Mary, Paul, Peter, Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Regan…on and on………READ MORE:

We are now blogging. Who isn’t really? Probably many, but I really should have done this years ago. Thanks to some recent research, I have determined that this is really an ideal way to tell stories and to get these tidbits of information I come across out to other interested people. I think recipes and information would be nice to include here as well.
Anyway, I am looking forward to adding many posts and reading any comments.
